The origin of Florigin (English version)

Why I chose the name Florigin Studio.

I wanted to find a name that managed to incorporate the essence of what is at the heart of what I do, sustainable floral design. 

To me it's important to look back, to the original motives behind why we use flowers the way we do. I feel like so many aspects of this industry have become complicated and unnatural, and I want to strip all that back and get back to the natural origins of floral design.

And I don't have a shop, I work at home in my favourite room in the house, my studio. 

Quite frankly, Toni in Rome with Flowers was a cool instagram name for my private account, but never intended as a name for a business. And it's hard to pronounce in Italian. I've totally outgrown it. But as I'm sure many of you already know, naming a business is harder than naming a baby! And I've got two languages to contend with! I really hope you like it as much I do. I feel like it really represents me, my philosophy and my style.

New name, new logo. But I'm still the same old me.
